Project-Based learning

Project-based instruction is an approach to learning - through doing. It is a multi-disciplinary approach to learning that brings meaning and inspiration to the learning process. When children are focused on a project or goal, they are able to acquire multiple skills at the same time. It is an approach that emulates real life in that children must push through frustrations, learn skills necessary to achieve their skills, cope with failure and follow their mission in pursuit of a goal that’s significant to them.

PBL Works

“At PBLWorks, we believe that all students—no matter where they live or what their background—should have access to quality Project Based Learning to deepen their learning and achieve success in college, career, and life. PBL blends content mastery, meaningful work, and personal connection to create powerful learning experiences, in terms of both academic achievement and students’ personal growth. PBL can be transformative for students, especially those furthest from educational opportunity. Now more than ever, we need young people who are ready, willing, and able to tackle the challenges of their lives and the world they will inherit - and nothing prepares them better than Project Based Learning.”
