Programs for Homeschooling
As the school year starts, families are looking for high quality programs for homeschooling. One of the exciting things about homeschooling programs is that there are so many great ones. When people ask us, “whats’s the best homeschooling program?” it’s actually impossible to answer because every child learns differently and what works for one child doesn’t necessarily work well for another child.
That said, it can be challenging to sift through the thousands of programs for homeschooling available, so we’ve selected 100 of our favorite programs for homeschooling for families to review.
If you find this list overwhelming, please feel free to use our free curriculum planner to find a program for homeschooling. You can use it to find a complete program for homeschooling for PreK-12th grades, math program for homeschooling and literacy program for homeschooling (if your child is learning to read) based on your child’s learning preferences and families preferences around screen time, cost and learning methodology.

Selecting Programs for Homeschooling
We had a lot of fun selecting our favorite programs for homeschooling.
Here was our process.
1) We reviewed tens of thousands of comments by secular homeschooling families to identify their biggest curriculum needs and their most favorite homeschooling programs.
2) We selected 1000 top homeschooling programs and asked our teachers and tutors to review them to ensure they were pedagogically sound, secular and scientifically accurate.
3) We tested these programs with our own students at Modulo and Mastery Hour to observe how engaged they were using the homeschooling programs (and for screen-based programs, to see if there were any bugs).
4) Based on this, we selected 100 programs that families and kids consistently LOVE.
