Creative Writing with Christine Gardiner: Brown University teacher teaches writing
Christine Gardiner is offering creative writing courses on zoom, to students, as a way to help them develop a way of expressing themselves. Ms. Gardiner is the author of Pet Murmur, My Sister's Father, and The Birdhouse. She taught college level writing for over a decade and wants to help the youth find a way to express themselves thought writing.. Ms. Gardiner hosts a variety of different courses for different grade levels. Each of the courses offer a different topic that students will be able to discuss with Ms. Gardiner and other students, allowing them to bounce ideas and means of expressing themselves to each other. . Parents would need to sign their students up for a course respective to their child's grade level. Students would then meet once a week on Zoom for an hour and 30 minutes., Students who enjoy creative writing would definitely thrive by learning from not only a teacher, but also their peers. This classroom creates an environment where children can be themselves and have somebody to help them with their writing., Students who dislike writing would probably not benefit from these sessions as they have to want to write to make the most of it., As a parent, I would definitely look into Ms. Gardiner's previous works and see if you like the styles and ideas that she puts out. See if your children like her writing as well..
