In modular learning, parents create a mosaic of activities and experiences for their child’s education, composed of five parts:
The Five Components
Mastery learning. 1:1 teaching sessions and independent study in core academic areas, taught by a family member or tutor,
Social-emotional learning. Group activities that align with your child’s interests and give them lots of time collaboratively learning and playing with peers.
Self-directed education. Unstructured time for self-directed learning, free play, and child-initiated projects
Community. Field trips, park days, volunteering and social gatherings with the broader modular learning community.
Support from families, teachers and experts who have experience with Modular learning to mentor you and guide you along the way.
