Let’s make masks!

A science, art and civic engagement workshop for kids!

The workshop has passed, but you can watch the video here!

Make your own mask and learn about science

In this online workshop, distinguished research scientist and co-founder of #Masks4All, Jeremy Howard, will explain the science behind why wearing masks helps stop the spread of Covid-19.

He’ll also lead a conversation about civic responsibility and why taking actions to help others helps make communities strong.

In the workshop, children will learn to make their own masks using an old t-shirt and transform them into beautiful pieces of art and self-expression using their favorite art supplies.

At the end of the workshop, kids can keep their masks or donate them hospitals and essential workers. We’ll be featuring pictures of the kids masks on twitter, facebook and instagram to inspire others!
