Reading Eggs: a fun, interactive reading program

Reading Eggs is a fun and highly rewarding program that helps children develop the necessary skills they need in order to become fluent readers. Reading Eggs is a scientifically-research-based program that helps young children and pre-teens develop important reading skills. Children learn through a series of highly interactive, rewarding, and fun games that keeps them engaged and learning. Reading Eggs was created by a team of elementary school teachers to make learning how to read a fun and highly engaging process. Reading Eggs's lessons draw on colorful animations, fun characters, songs, and reward systems to motivate children. Students complete a placement quiz to determine the reading the level they begin on. Parents are also given detailed progress sheets so they can assist their children when needed. Parents love how excited their students get when they work on the Reading Eggs lessons. They're also noticing huge improvements in their children's reading abilities- many have gone from reading below grade level to reading above grade level. Some parents didn't enjoy how the game sometimes glitched and required continual tech assistance.
