Master Class : Learn from professionals

MasterClass offers a series of self-paced lessons from professionals around the world. MasterClass is unique because they provide thousands of lessons from professionals. They share all of their successes, downfalls, and inside tips. MasterClass was founded by David Rogier and Aaron Rasmussen to allow anyone learn from the best in any field. Users sign up for a membership that gives them access to all of the video lessons recorded by professionals. Users can learn on their own time and create their own schedules. Many users love the organization of the classes and how easy it is to navigate the site. They also appreciate the opportunity to learn from the professionals they look up to. Some users thought some lessons were more of an autobiography than an actual lesson. Others felt like they could get the same information from a YouTube video (specifically the cooking class lessons).

Grades: Any age - geared more towards young adults and adults.

Cost: MasterClass costs $15 per month.

Madeline Goldsmith is a rising junior at a high school in Northern California. She has worked with the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation Summer Program to co-teach students interested in STEM fields and is a tutor at her high school. Due to shelter-in-place restrictions, she has first-hand experience with the boredom students can face when stuck at home, so she is excited to provide parents with additional resources to keep their children engaged in learning.
